About me
As a first-year master's student in German-French translation at the Sorbonne and Heidelberg University, I am passionate about foreign languages, travel and photography. As a great lover of English and German culture, I travel from country to country to discover the wonders of our world.
From my earliest childhood to the present day, I have discovered many new horizons – new cultures, new people and much more, which has helped me to open up to the world around me.
I share my language skills with others by offering tutoring and homework help in three different languages (FR, ENG, DE).
In the third year of my bachelor's degree, I completed an Erasmus semester at the University of Bremen in Germany. During this year, I took language, translation and history courses and tutored in translation in my spare time. I also participated in the DAAD's ‘Europa macht Schule’ programme, in which I designed and implemented an educational project with German schoolchildren.
I run a translation blog where I publish translations of various types of texts, whether as part of my studies or in my free time. In addition, I have conducted research on translation.
I also participated in the PEA programme (Programme for Studies in Germany), which trains French-German experts at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. This programme enabled me to get to know the German university system and further improve my language skills in grammar, translation and oral expression – while also creating unforgettable memories.
For several years, I have also been learning Spanish and Portuguese, Japanese for three years, and recently Norwegian and Dutch. Learning these languages allows me to acquire new knowledge and open myself up to the respective cultures that interest me.
More of my adventures will be recounted in my upcoming blog posts.
